New Enhanced Format
Each day will include:
- 3 hours of classroom-based theoretical discussions at The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanata Ottawa West located at 340 Huntmar Drive in Kanata, Ontario
- 3 hours of indoor practical demonstrations and testing in the simulator facility at SHIFT Performance & Wellness facility located on Iber Rd bordering Kanata and Stittsville
This combination allows candidates to deepen their understanding of modern golf instruction while demonstrating their teaching and playing abilities in a professional learning environment.
Master Certification Prerequisite and Testing Requirements
To be eligible for the Masters Certification Course, applicants must:
- Be a CGTF Member in good standing for a minimum of 12 months
- Deliver a 15–20 minute verbal presentation on a golf-related topic not covered during the original certification process
- Complete a shot demonstration in the indoor simulator bay
- Present a 5–10 minute teaching presentation on an assigned topic from the original CGTF certification curriculum
